VBT Training (Velocity Based Training)
Programming
Our in person training consist mainly of fielding, throwing/pitching, and hitting. The main areas of focus with in our on site training are specifically geared to player development in regards to pitching and hitting.
When it comes to opportunity in baseball we focus on 2 main areas that will help overall opportunity; those areas are pitching and hitting-specifically in terms of a data backed velocity based approach. Allowing young players to understand the rewards and benefits from enhancing pitching velocity and exit velocity.
A major focus with what we do is geared toward specific player programming and drill work to help increase mechanical patterning. The first step to player development is addressing the mechanical deficiency, the second step is to program drill work to help develop more efficient mechanical patterns.

Slow Motion Video Analysis
The best way to understand a players movement patterns is by breaking down the action through slow motion. Throughout our sessions we take many slow motion videos to really break down the mechanics frame by frame, educating players on things they not only need to improve on; but also things they excel at.

Tracking the Data
How do we know we are developing?

Tracking the Data- Step by Step:

Initial Baseline Velocity Readings --> Log the data --> Slow Motion Video Analysis --> Break down of
mechanical deficiencies --> Drill work to increase mechanical patterning --> Retest velocity Readings --> Log
the new data
